It's Good to Go

Had the meeting with the dermatologist and if you must have cancer I have the very best one to have: Basil Carconoma. Highly treatable and it seems like it's done already. The consult is Monday--surgery about a month later--checkup in October and my request for insight into how pity sex can be successfully accomplished and how long guilt trips can be turned into benes gets me a laugh and "I know all the tricks--you'll be fine."

I did tell her God was still good and thanked her.

Picked up some books--finished paying all July bills save one (which hasn't arrived yet and the day seems brighter.

Thank you all for your support and attention.

Rich (still here and still poor)(and still waiting for that oh so special PM from Logos)(YES--I saw the thread just joking put the restraining order away again please.

I am glad the cancer is one of the easily treated ones...my father has had similiar experiences with skin cancer and they can be removed and prevented from spreading. So now I will say to you what I say to him.....get your spf 50 sunblock and wear it whenever you go out in the sun....wear a hat whenever possible to protect your head and eat citrus for vitamin C (kills those free radicals that damage skin cells.)

Sorry, I am Kathy, therefore I must nag....but only because I care.

I believe you know that I wish you the VERY BEST without my having to say it. Regardless, I'll join with my fellow bloggers at Lit.Com on this thread in expressing how happy I am that everything is going well, and that the future is looking brighter. I'm only one voice (a guy who's a stranger to you, after all)...Rich, you must have TEN MILLION+ readers and admirers around this joint called the Internet who (while not openly expressed ) extend their tacit hopes and silent prayers for your speedy recovery: as the Countess said earlier, "You Are Loved" (and for good reason). Take Care, Michael
