Belated Introduction

Rate this Entry
I guess I should really give a brief introduction so people kind of know what I'm about, or at least my brief background

I grew up in Wisconsin, and its still one of my favorite places. I love the four seasons there, and always something to do. I joined the Army to pay for college. I lived in Northern Germany (87-90) while i was in the Army, and really liked it. I must admit that I would rather have lived in Southern Germany. Went to college in Wisconsin. I have a BS in Geology with an emphasis on glacial geology.

I moved to Louisiana to work in the petroleum industry. Moved to Montana to be a ski-bum (snowboard bum) Returned to the petroleum industry last year, and am in the process of moving to Alaska.

I will fill in more as the blog continues. Stay warm.

well great to meet you B. Moving to Alaska huh? sounds wonderful, its one of those places I hope to travel to before I die, maybe even live there for a few years. You can take Logos out of the country but you can't take the country out of Logos

We get the four seasons here in Southern Ontario but would love to experience the extremes of weather/seasons you get up there including the 24 hours of daylight in summer, would love to see if I go 'crazy' But I guess relocating is a bit complicated too? good luck with it.

Thanks Logos. I made my mind up to only live in places where people go as tourists. Montana was like that, living in a ski resort town near Yellowstone Park. Alaska will be like that I'm sure. I hope to eventually settledown in Hawaii or somewhere like that in the distant future.
