Double entry

I know, I didn't blog yesterday so this is kind of a double update I suppose. Nothing to say about yesterday except that Tom came back and decided to change out email subject for no reason, even though I hade more to say on it. I got bored and logged off early and only remembered my blog at 12am ish. I decided that so little happened that I could fill it in today. I cooked some of that microwave bacon, let it cool (Because I didn't want melted and then re-cooled butter) and put it in today's sandwiches. It wasn't as good as I was expecting. I suppose the bacon's better freshly cooked.
Tom's decided that I'll be seeing him tomorrow, at his house. Whoopie-doo. Mum'll probably have thrown the tree out by the time I get back.
Oh, and yesterday we found that the squirrel had taken one of the monkey huts under the mat (The solid one) and left the other one.
Today I saw a depressing and horrifying article about flamingos and how they're a popular tourist attraction at some lake somewhere (can't remember where) but the lake has got smaller because the water from the streams that fills it has been diverted for crops and any water that does make it to the lake has had people's waste and sewage thrown into it, so the flamingos are dying. This I find to be truly disturbing because flamingos are lovely animals. Last year we went to Jersey zoo (On the island of Jersey as we usually do) and there was the most adorable baby flamingo that was all fluffy and white and kept stretching its little legs. It was so adorable. Despite the fact that I hate pink, flamingo feathers fascinate me. They start off white and turn pink because of the food they eat (I heard on a TV program that it's carotene in the shrimps they eat). I also love their legs. They have to be careful how they sit down, it's so cute to watch.
Well, I'm tired, and I've not much else to say, except that my year leader should have finally sent off my UCAS application. He had to write a kind of reference about me and apparently "there's not much to say" about me. If he bothered to look in my school records he could have unearthed some things, like I did two, one week, first aid courses or that I have received either 98-99 or 100 attendance for something like the last five years running.
Well, that's all for now.
Bluebiird out.
