Cosy Christmas

As I sit here in my lovely new fluffy slippers, typing on a new keyboard Dad got me (Though my old one was fine; if a little sticky from a few food spills and faded on certain letters such as the "A", "M" and "N") I must take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas (Or alternative holiday that you may celebrate at this time).
Today I slept in for about 3-4 hours than I normally do on Christmas day, because Dad and I did our errand yesterday.
A few presents were unwrapped (Ones that mum always leaves in my room, even though we both have no belief in Santa, the tradition is kept alive, though the tag is always signed "mum" now).
The presents included a particular perfume by the name of Ultraviolet (Which first came as a tester perfume with another one Mum bought in Jersey, with two testers) that I've become particularly fond of, an electronic sudoku game (A brain teaser I'm also fond of) Two T-shirts (One with a red dragon and one with a black cat) and some pens, to name a few.
We did some clearing up and then Dad came. I delivered the Christmas cards to our neighbors (Another of our little traditions).
Then came the dinner which I helped mum with as best as I could.
We had our dinner. I just ate bacon wrapped sausages and turkey with lovely thick gravy (As I'm not keen veg, particularly sprouts and potatoes. I also hate stuffing). Dad refused his bacon wrapped sausages, claiming they had too much salt; the man is starting to turn into an old woman; this is the man that would eat a whole box of Jaffa cakes and then fall asleep.
I had trouble making the last candle light, but Dad fixed it in the end.
Then came more unwrapping. Mum loves her slippers. Dad hates his and I love mine, but that's typical, he has other things such as jeans and a thermal vest from mum.
Mum's gifts included chocolates from me and DVD's from Dad.
I was the proud receiver of such things as slippers (as you already know) pajamas, little metal puzzles (Such as the little maze where you have to put the little balls on the spots) A small assortment of perfumes (Dad must have asked some female or other for advice on that) a portable DVD player and other things.
You guys must think I'm spoilt. Well, I am most of the time. It's one of the perks of being an only child. Don't think it's fun being alone though. It’s not. Sometimes I wish I had a younger sibling to play with and teach things. But that has it's down sides too, so I guess there's no happy medium.
Tom got me an adorable little blue dragon. I hate when he does that, it makes me look bad.
This Christmas Day has been fun, though a little different to usual.
Today’s chocolate was a little slab of chocolate with "Happy Christmas on it".
