Female Muslim-Professor Says O.K. Rape non-Muslim Women

A short time ago I read an article with the eye-catching headline: Why Female Muslim Professor Says It’s OK To Rape Non-Muslim Women, and apparently it is serious. The woman in the video asserted that women prisoners of war taken in legitimate war could be used as sex slaves. That’s rather traditional, but non-combatants cannot be prisoners of war, so it leads me to wonder what the reasoning really is. If it was meant that women taken as plunder of war could be used in any way, then the commentator was justifying something else.
Below the video there is additional material, including statements by the Imam of a Salafist Cologne mosque that were apparently meant to try to justify the actions of men from his mosque. Imam said: “the events of New Year’s Eve were the girls own fault, because they were half naked and wearing perfume. It is not surprising the men wanted to attack them. [Dressing like that] is like adding fuel to the fire.” This does not speak well for the Muslim men of Cologne. Men are expected to be able control themselves. If those men couldn’t control themselves, then that’s what police are for. They should have been tossed into prison until they learned how to behave in an open society where humans of both sexes exist. I had assumed that the Muslim migrants moving into Europe were normal men who had control over their urges, so they could learn how to live in Europe, but it seems that they have major problems with self-control. It is surprising that Syria ever developed much of a culture, if the men have these problems. But it suggests that those men are not ready to live in civilization, so it might be appropriate to drive them out.
It had been my opinion that sending them back to assist the Syrian government in defeating the rebels and Daesh, but these men probably would just spend their time raping the women, and that isn’t very useful in war.
Then there’s the question as to whether the attacks in Cologne and elsewhere were actually part of an organized campaign. Sami Abu-Yusuf, and Imam in Germany, suggested that some of the men involved might have been recruited as part of a larger campaign against civilization and against women, see linked article. “He tells the interviewer that in his experience immigrants don’t come to Germany for a better life, but come in groups to engage in organised crime.” His Salafist mosque has been raided by anti-terrorist police in the past.
I think that I am a little happier that I don’t live in Europe, because Europe appears to be the first target of these religious zealots. I am saddened to learn that there are Muslims who apparently are misogynists. I had thought that Islam was a religion of peace, but Daesh has its own interpretation of the Koran, and apparently the Salafist also have a rather non-peaceful interpretation of Islam. I think it is a bad mistake to be too sure of one's opinions; there is always a chance of being mistaken. The people I have known who were sure they were right usually have had psychological problems OCD or Asperger's Syndrome.
I hope these things are aberrations.
