Ok, I have calmed down after seeing that article last night. I am still damn annoyed, but less likely to rant about politics.

This is ridiculous. Scotland is supposedly a developed country, So how can there be 90,000 children unable to get the necessity of heat in their home?
Scotland produces oil from the North Sea Rigs, we should be able to provide it to these families.

People are making money while children are freezing, that just is not acceptable.Electricity up 60%? Gas 90%? Why? I do not pretend to understand economics, however I do know that there is no reason it could not be discounted to those most sorely in need of it.
