Peace be on you

The fasting month of Ramadhan ended and Eid was observed with thankfulness to Allah. There are three types of Eids; Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha and Eid of Friday. Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him) has declared Friday as Eid too.

Generally, it is thought that Eid after Ramadhan is the day of celebration and thankfulness after Ramadhan only. But there are deep lessons which a faithful have to keep in mind. Eid days are mile stones. Eid of Friday comes every seventh days. Eid ul Fitr comes after Ramadhan and Eid ul Adha comes after about two and one quarter month after that. A believer has to be vigilant in between the Eid times and make self check about his or her progress. They have to check their relation with Allah and fellow people. They have to do good deeds non stop to seek pleasure of Allah the Exalted.

According to Ahmadiyya Muslim Khalifah, “Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him) has associated bliss of heart with Eman [Faith]……The true Eid means the state when believer feel ecstasy in doing deeds ; service is not felt burden; continuity come in worships, happiness is generated after offering sacrifice for Allah, people and system of Jama'at. Such a person has everlasting Eid.”
