Peace be on you…..On June 2, 2014, Fifth Ahmadiyya Khalifa (may Allah be his Helper) started the journey from London. There were many faithful who were present outside his residence to say him farewell. Holy Khalifah lead the silent prayer. The convoy of cars went to the Channel Tunnel, which is 11 mile prior to the city of Dover. The Tunnel connects UK and France from under the sea. At the Tunnel, after the immigration procedure, cars were parked in a 2-storey train. The train travelled for 35 minutes, at 140 km/h and reached to the French city of Calais.
Germany’s Ahmadiyya Muslim Amir and Missionary In-charge and other faithful welcomed the Holy Khalifah (a.t.) and after food and offering Salaat, the convoy travelled for 31 kilometers to cross the French border and entered into Belgium. Then after a journey of 308 kilometer more, the convoy entered in Germany. After travelling of further 265 kilometers, Holy Khalifah’s convoy reached to the centre of Jama'at Ahmadiyya Germany, Bait-us- Subbuh Frankfurt. He was very warmly welcomed by orderly and separately standing in rows men, women and children of Jama'at. Children, wearing dresses of same colour, were reciting welcome and prayerful poems. Faithful were raising and waving hands with intense love and emotions, they were saying slogans. Local Ahmadiyya administration welcomed Huzur (a.t.). Faithful individual and families had come from as far as 500 kilometers. Huzur (a.t.) walked through and raised his hand and said ‘Assalamo Alaikum’ [peace be on you] and went to his residence. Some times latter, he came back to lead the Salaat. All the halls were full of faithful. Some of them were seeing their beloved Khalifah for the first time and they were thankful to Allah the Exalted.
