It's nearly here. It was a Santa face again today. Oh well.

I intended to get up earlier today to prepare myself for tomorrow but I had such trouble sleeping I decided to sleep in. I went to bed late anyway. Wind and rain was pelting my window so every time that picked up I was suddenly aware that I wasn't sleeping. Then I heard a familiar gnawing sound in my bedroom. and then some cats decided to start yowling outside my window. Oh and I hid my head on the bed when I got back in after looking for mice, quite hard too.

We've got the bird. It's a beauty. But they didn't pluck it properly, there's lots of tint ends of feathers stuck all over it. Yuki got insanely possessive of it.

I've done all of my wrapping. Mum tells me she's almost done all of hers, she just has to wrap up Napoleons'. He called, my phone battery was dead so he called the house phone, mum answered. She tells me that he said that he was a little low on presents to give and was asking if we wanted any sweets, because he somehow, for some reason, has a stash of sweets or something. Not really sure what's going on there. I've already saved up some Christmas sweets. I have chocolate oranges, little ones, and chocolate coins. I also have some chocolate coins stashed inside some baubles, they came that way. I'm thinking of not eating those coins though, I'm thinking of giving them to the little ones when we go to see the family on the 30th. I'd like to see their faces light up but I won't expect too much, because if they're not there then I'll get depressed.

I'm thinking, what with this weather, it's a good thing that Napoleon didn't come to fix the aerial. There's a news report about flooding that's ruined people's Christmases. Unless a water main bursts or something we're usually able to avoid such things since we're on a hill. I am quite terrified that a tree will fall on us but I put it to the back of my mind most of the time.

So. I think that'll do for now.
