The only one I have is The Complete Poems of DHL. It's huge. I can't imagine you would read the whole work through. But it's great to have when you hear about a poem and what to look it up, or perhaps just to pop open to a page and discover one. Lawrence is really under rated as a poet.

Yeah I just had to get it because it was there, and it was free, but definitely not something I would sit down and read cover to cover. But good for reading in bits and pieces here and there.

It just so happens I have DHL's Complete Poems lying adjacent to my keyboard. Virgil is right - it is huge and it contains the work of a very under-rated poet. Some of his poems are brilliant on a purely poetic level, in the beauty of the language and musicality of the rhythm. Others are far less poetic but nonetheless very much worthwhile because of their profound insights put forth plainly, simply. I'm a huge Lawrence fan and I might actually enjoy his poems more than his novels.

I'm unfamiliar with some of those other authors but overall that is an impressive haul, especially given the fact that it was free.

Yes some of the books are books and authors I myself never heard of but just happened to read the back of and think, well that sounds like it would be interesting.

I do that at the library and mostly I am horribly disappointed. It's the fun of finding that gem! Have fun reading!
