Well. Not really.

Bought a diary 2 weeks ago. It's been quite useful. I tried to use my blog to document things but when I leave it too long or try to save things up to make a substantial blog then it's very difficult. I mainly got a diary because we didn't get a free calendar/flyer for an estate agents this year, like we have in previous years, that I use to keep track of my menstrual cycle, they were perfect for it, a whole year squeezed onto one A5 piece of card, no fuss. They usually came through in the first week or two of January. I thought it might be useful to get a diary. I got a little kind of pocket diary because it was the cheapest. There were three sizes to choose from. I try to write in it every day. Not my thoughts or feelings, that's what the blog's for. It's just for the events of the day. There's no space to start rambling and going off on a couple of tangents. I've done well so far and it's oddly pleasing to be writing every day.

We still have mice. They're getting quite lively now. It's getting near to the time of year that they go back outside to where ever they came from. They seem to use us as a winter home...or so it seems. We recently found out that our neighbour also gets mice and hires an exterminator to put poison down. I wonder if that's what happened to Stanley several years ago (long story short, at the end of an infestation I found a mouse stumbling around and generally looking very unwell. We figured it was dying and after discussing it with mum, who was in the bath at the time, I compressed it between my hands trying to gently suffocate it until it stopped moving. I couldn't think of anything better to do at the time and if I was going to do it then it should be hands on...pun intended. I had to get mum to have a look and confirm it was dead because I wasn't sure if I felt it struggling or whether it was just my hands trembling from squeezing it. The fact that it was caught to easily tells me that it didn't have long to live anyway, I caught it rather like a spider.)

I've been spending the day listening to Girugamesh. They're pretty cool. It reminded me of a story I came up with. Just the characters and a general plot, I didn't actually start writing the story, I've tried to stop diving straight into writing stories and getting stuck and instead try to plan things a little first. The other reason I didn't jump into writing it is that it's a better plot for an anime than a book. If it ever did become an anime it'd be cool if Girugamesh did the opening song, they have some that would be epic opening or ending songs.

One of the main characters in the story is called Gilgamesh and he's the overall boss of everything. So when I started listening to Girugamesh I started thinking of this fellow Gilgamesh (since they're both named after the same thing) and added a little more to the character profiles I did. Now I've dug myself into a little hole though because I've said there is a group of five male vampires and I'm trying to design them. So far I have two. It's really hard to think of cool vampirey names that aren't an obvious allusion to other vampires and it's just as hard to work out how they act and look. Absolutely no Dracula or Twilight characteristics, that I know of having never read either of the books, here. They have to be sufficiently different from each other but believable but not an obvious rip off of other vampires with different skills and back stories and they're all in love with the same girl so they need individual ways of expressing that that fit their personalities and don't clash with anyone else's. They're not rivals or anything though, they're all on the same team and pretty much act like her slaves, willingly. And, while not being a copy of other vampires they can't just be some kind of hastily thrown together generic vampire, all kind of "I vant to suck your blood" because that just won't work with this. The most important thing about them is that they have to be cool. They have to look cool, act cool and do cool things that have to be different from each other otherwise what's the point.

Knowing me it'll take about 2 years to come up with the right things and i still won't be happy with them. The annoying thing is that they're not even main characters, they're just the ones I got up to designing.

Well. I don't have much more to say. Just wanted to let you know I was still around really.

Where do the mice stay in the house? I think it would creep me out if i knew they were in the house. Isn't that how the black plague started? LOL, that's kind of funny. Actually I had a mouse in my office a couple of months ago. Not sure if i mentioned it. It feels like I did. Anyway, he chewed through my cough drop bag that was in my lower drawer of my desk and chewed on a cough candy. Hope it cured his cough.

Winter is ending your way? We're still in the heart of it and they're expecting a big snow storm this weekend. Possibly a foot of snow.

You have mentioned it before but I like that story so it's fine.
The mice seem to be pretty much everywhere but in plain sight. They drive the dog crazy trying to hunt them. I wonder if it would be easier if she were a cat .
In regards to.....Them.....I try extremely hard not to think about what kinds of diseases they could give me or how they're living in the ceiling chewing I dread to think what. A few nights ago I heard one trying to gnaw through the wall from mum's room into mine...................I've been against klilling them, it's not their fault.....but if I ever find one in my room I will want to kill it, whether I will or not depends on my mood at the time. Vermin are forbidden in my room. Even the dog is forbidden and she belongs here.
They've been saying we'll get more snow but I think that's the colder regions. I doubt we'll get any more snow here, it's already starting to feel a little warmer.
