It was either that or Double Advent. I decided against it because I found it a little confusing. I decided to get an advent calendar this year. I know I'm too old for it but I kind of missed the excitement of opening it and blogging my findings. I can't promise a daily update. I'd feel like I'm hogging the blog page. We'll see how we go.

So. I have a calendar. Guess what. So does the dog. Last year we got her one with Mini Markies. There was nothing to blog about though because they were all the same and on the 24th she got a flashing dog tag. We thought it was a good idea for night time walkies but it made a horrible jangly noise on her collar and lighting her up like a Christmas tree might let car drivers see her but thieves and generally nasty people could also see her so we don't use it.
This year she has a rawhide calendar. It's very cute.

So. Without further a due.
I got a Christmas tree. It was a little plain but tasted good.
Yuki got a red and white twisted bone.

Man I have a lot to do for Christmas. I've been held up making a blanket just to get it off my desk. I wanted to have it out of the way by today but it's still here.
I also have to finish making my Christmas cards. I have six that I made earlier in the year, when I got inspired. I'm also making some tissue paper kind of flower ball things. I have one more to make because I made three for fun but we have four hooks, so I need to make another. I also got some paper chains. I made a super long one but I need to find somewhere to put it. I have a second one to play with too.

Oh well.
