Time! Time, where did you go!?

I haven't checked in in a while now. one or two posts last week but nothing else in a long time. Time just seems to escape me these days. My exams are over so I have a bit more time now but still the hours go by faster than they used to.
School was very busy this semester but I think it will be even harder after new years... I am taking more classes than I need to because there are so many interesting courses and one of the mandatory ones has 5 books about 7-900 pages each on icelandic literature and another is on latin and it's about the same... the other two are hopefully not as big but I'm gonna try if it doesn't work out I can always drop one.
Well Christmas is coming, I feel like the little girl in the Grinch, I can't seem to find Christmas, they are just lost. My brother and sister in law say it's because I have been working last two Christmas eve's, here on the ice the big day is the 24th, and this year I have my son with me and we are spending the evening with my mom and stepdad and my brother. I am trying to think of all the great food I'll get but that just isn't enough for some reason. I have watched my favorite holiday movie 'Christmas Vacation' I also watched 'Scrooged' and it just didn't help. I baked some cookies and put up some decorations but still can't seem to find Christmas anywhere, maybe it's in a box in my closet and I need to dig it out.
I have finished buying everything and I am kinda only looking forward to see my son open his presents, my brother bought online the 11th Doctor sonic screwdriver with light and sound effects, I can't wait to see his face when he opens it up! He loves the Doctor and he has a bow on every weekend, I am lucky he wears a uniform to school cause I would struggle every morning if he could wear his clothes. He loves dressing up and his most recent thing is kinda funny, he doesn't want to dress up like Superman or Batman but like Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne. The Doctor is perfect in this case cause he wears a shirt and a jacket and bow all the time. His Christmas clothes look like James Bond. This is a weird kid I have.
During my Christmas brake from school I am not under the same pressure to read so I am reading for fun but the books I'm reading are all for my courses next year so I can get ahead in some things. So it's Ovid and Virgil and Icelandic literature this Christmas.
Anyway, don't know if I will find the time to check in again before Christmas so MERRY CHRISTMAS !!
