Halls of the Dark Muse

I do not often talk about current events and news items and such things of the like, because well I generally do not have an interest in that way and there are plenty of other people to talk about those things, but every now and than something will catch my eye which I feel inclined to comment upon.

There was this Miss Universe Canada beauty pageant in which the constant who won had the crown taken away from her and was disqualified because it was discovered that she was biologically born as a man. But has since undergone a sex change operation.

Several people had commented that "he" lied on the application about "his" gender and was breaking the rules and deserved to be disqualified, but I personally do not view it that way.

As far as I am concerned SHE had undergone a surgical procedure so that she no longer has male genitalia and SHE perceives herself to be a woman, and does not think of herself as being a man, regardless of how she may have been born, in my book she is a WOMAN, and I will add I think also quite an attractive one.

She won the beauty pageant upon her own merit, and personally I think she deserved the win and should not have been disqualified.
