Getting a bit lazy about typing in general and a entry I was working on was going nowhere so I'll just bullet shoot some stuff.

Second son Dan turns 29 Monday.

On Tuesday he's on the way to Afghanistan for a year.

First Lieutenant in charge of an area the side of Rhode Island responsible for bomb disposal.

In the immortal words of Alfred E. Neuman: "What--Me Worry?"

AAA Call Center for Dayton Ohio new hours 7 am - 11 pm.

Still on 8 on, 2 off, 7 on, 2 off, 5 on, 4 off--repeat for the last 20 years.

Second shift which is one but not the real reason I have no life.

Still 77 Avengers to go out of the original 503.

Started Return of Sherlock Holmes--on the third story.

Also working on Secret Agent X Volume 5--the 18th novel out of 41. (Originally a pulp magazine form the 1930s) Probably about three more years for Altus Press to complete the series.

DC cancels six of the new 52 titles each and already schedules their replacements--like I needed a FIFTH Batman title. To no surprise to me whatsoever Blackhawks was one of the cancellations which doesn't bother me as other then my avatar here there was NOTHING related to MY Blackhawk comics form the 60s.

Had to replace a second tire on Ruth's car.

Tow driver highly annoyed at me the other night--advised me he might speak to my supervisor--I told him go for it--they know who I am. Nothing came of it. Today he and I worked together like it was nothing. Thye are like spoiled children sometimes. So used to it it's actually boring arguing anymore.

One two driver lost his job the other day--accidently overcharged a money--AAA sent his money back but the station used it as an excuse to drop him. He was an old tomer that always was polite and I liked him but often he would avoid tows that might cause damage in fear of having to incur liability.

Brandy wants to see One for the Money in two weeks and asked me to go with her. You bet I said yes.

In return asked her about The Avengers movie in May--not as excited--sigh. Mind you SHE saw Watchmen whereas I made a point to avoid that one. Even my old pal Steve couldn't get me to want to see it.

And that about wraps it up. Getting late and I am tired, 6 down 2 to go and probably be sleeping all day Tuesday.

A happy belated birthday to your son!

Oh, God, does he really have to go? I thought they were pulling out of that region. I guess I was wrong. We'll probably be there forever. I will keep him in my prayers. The problem is I don't pray very much, Rich.

Enjoy the movie, and sleep well.

Prayers for your son Rich. Hope his tour of duty is a safe one.

How did the old timer accidentally overcharge? You think it was really an accident? If so, that's too bad.

I think so--he ws a bit of an old duffer and I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. Some stations add tax in--others don't plus our overmiles used to to be three miles--now it is five free before charging. Was only $9 and change which AAA sent the member a check for. I suspect the station was looking fior an excuse to terminate--a safe bet I believe.
