day in a life

Today is the first of Christmas in my home on the ice. My son will leave tomorrow to go to his dads house for Christmas so we are having our holiday tonight, we are gonna eat nut roast and open all our gifts. He is so excited!! It is not ten in the morning and he has already asked about 20 times if he can open just one present.

I got all my grades and I passed all my exams!!!!!! 30 units down 150 to go!!!

We decorated our tree a few days ago and I bought beads and we made an Iron man, a spiderman, the batman sign and the ghostbusters sign and hung them all on our tree, it is awesome! my boy just loved it. we actually have two trees, my grandma had a small fake tree that I got after she died with all the original decorations, it's about 50 years old and still looks good. many of my decorations are from my grandmothers, one of them loved Christmas and had about 50 santas, I only have a few of them but that's ok. I have her angel on the top of my tree.

I can't wait to start school again in January, I am taking three classes one is literature history, one is cultural history and the most exciting one is mythology in modern literature I can't wait, apparently there is a lot more work to be done in these courses than in the three I was in this semester.

anyway we are all excited about the first of Christmas tonight and I am gonna go find something for us to do so he'll stop asking for the presents.
