And so it begins! That's one of the best things about having a nearly 3 year old granddaughter, rediscovering classics like The Tale Of Peter Rabbit. Seeing her engrossed and fascinated, feeling the thrill once more through her eyes. Has there ever been a more scary literary villian than Mr McGregor?

    Oh for the days when being baked in a pie was a distinct possibility.

    Children love terror - otherwise Roald dahl would have been redundant.

    I've never actually read Peter Rabbit. One of the main reasons for having kids that I can think of is to read to them though, I'd like to see how a little human that I made would react to Bigwig. I bet she'd dig him.
