Again

Ah. She's going in again. The retina detached again today. It was funny in the morning and got worse as the day went on. Not good. She has a lot of work to do that apparently only she can do. We just settled back into a normal routine. The dog's just getting over a phantom pregnancy and it's bonfire night, meaning fireworks scare the dog. Oh and there's a phone bill that I now have to pay that's 2 weeks overdue because it got mixed up in Napoleon's post which he hasn't been to collect in like a month or something. And, the icing on the cake.......he's coming over tomorrow morning. No idea why. He has no urgent post.
We went out because I was after a few things and, although I won't admit it aloud because I sound mad, I've been feeling funny lately. It's a feeling I'm used to having but only in small bursts, this is almost constant. Best way I can describe it is, you know when you're dreaming. Even though it may seem real enough at the time if you have a moment to think it seems off, because you think you're doing something but in reality you're not. Ah it's really hard to explain. Kind of like you're somehow lighter than you used to be, like when you touch something it seems like you're only touching it with half the force you normally would...or maybe I should say you're only half feeling whatever it is....ARGH!! I can't explain it. I felt it a lot when my PC broke. It was a feeling of detachment I guess, from what I'm not quite sure, the world I guess.
Anyway. We got some toothpaste (I have to go to a health shop to get my toothpaste (Made with fennel) as I hate mint, it has a burning taste in my mouth, menthol and all things like that too). We also got some cardstock so I can make Christmas cards this year and visited a local bookshop that I only recently discovered (it's only small so I don't think they're looking to hire but it was nice to check it out all the same).
When we got back she headed off to the eye hospital. We weren't too worried you see. She's going to get cataracts from the operation, we wondered if it was that, or the retina coming loose again. Since the first time was so sudden she wasn't sure of the early stages of retinal detachment. Anyway, she went in and they said it's detached again so she's going in for the operation again tomorrow. I'm not so worried this time. Last time I forgot to mention something about her seeing the operation. When she had it she couldn't see out of that eye so she didn't need to worry about seeing it, they also went in from the side, not the front. Something else I forgot to tell you, she's afraid of needles. She would've rather had a general than a local anaesthetic but they convinced her to have a local.
I had more to say but I can't remember now, so it's Bluebiird out.
