I'm waiting for my straighteners to cool down. PC has suddenly slowed down, it does that at this time of morning. I stayed in the bath too long (not exactly uncommon for me). This time I kept falling asleep though. The bath's so warm I don't want to get out. It's gotten really cold lately and we're debating whether or not to put the central heating on. I object because once it's on it'll be on all through to spring. It's at this time of year that energy prices are put up to take full advantage of the cold. Surely it makes sense to save a little money by wearing a blanket or two instead, and there's that whole carbon footprint to think about. Then again the cold affects me badly, in the sense that I do less than I normally do in warmer weather. I've been staying up later, mainly because my bedroom is so cold and I want to put off going up there and also because I'm sleeping in later to take advantage of the warm bed in the mornings, or should I say afternoons. Only trouble is my feet get cold. I like to have the covers up to my ear in the cold but then my feet poke out so I have to curl up. Only trouble is I'm putting my full weight onto one hip all night because rolling over disturbs the warm covers and lets the cold in. My full weight is currently 13.5 stone. Not good. I'm going to fish out my second duvet soon I think. I'll have to put it in for washing though. Laundry hasn't been a priority lately so there's a lot of it to do. I've knitted myself a sock. I'm quite proud. Just need to knit another one now. I've been making a blanket for about 3 or so years now, maybe I should hurry up with that (it's going to be made of various patterned patches that I do on and off). Only trouble is I've got a few knitting projects on the go. I have to knit myself another sock. I'm making a cool scarf and Chi-chan's bunny suit for Christmas. I'd also like to try and make a matching toy bunny but we'll see how I go. I also want to knit a hat and gloves to go with my scarf. It's black with rainbow coloured stripes to look like piano keys. They're not spaced out like real piano keys though, it wouldn't be even then and that would drive me mad.
I'll leave it here for now. It's nearly 5am and I'm tired, for some reason.
