Halls of the Dark Muse

I was very exited about having the house to myself this evening, and well since getting back home from vacation I had not had a moment to myself really at all so I particularly welcomed the reprieve.

One of the things I decided to do to take advantage of the moment was go skinny dipping out in the pool. Yes I love skinny dipping for me it is one of the greatest and most free experiences there is, especially going at night. Swimming under the stars. Though when I went this time it was still light out, I might go back out later tonight.

But back to the story, this was the first opportunity I really had to go out skinny dipping this year, and I was very happy about the brand new fences we recently got which really enhanced the privacy factor.

With the old fences, the fence between our back yard and that of the people just behind us was practically falling down, and had a bunch of wholes in it and slits between the boards so someone could see through the fence if they wanted to and I never liked the guy who lived behind us, he always seemed kind of weird and he used to spend a lot of time just sitting in his backyard at all hours of the night. So I did not like going out there when he was there.

Plus when I was up on the deck there was a clear view into the backyard of the house next door so I would always have to wrap a towel around myself or where a cover up walking to the pool just in case anyone came out into the backyard.

But now our house is like a fortress completely blocked off from our surrounding neighbors so I just took off all my clothes in the house and than walked out thinking I would have nothing to worry about.

Than all of the sudden while I was in the water these two heads pop up, a couple of young boys who live in the house next door to the house directly behind my own and were climbing their own fence because they wanted to see the dog in my neighbors yard and happened to catch sight of my pool.

Because I was submerged into the water, and there was lattice across the top of the fence so their view was somewhat obstructed I don't think they saw anything, they did not react as if they had, they just kept talking about the pool itself. But for a while I was beginning to wonder how long I was going to be stranded there in the water while they were there because at first they just kept hovering there.

Than finally they returned their attention to the dog again and moved away, but I could still hear them near by and knew they were still playing around the fence so I was a bit worried that they might pop back up again when I was getting back out because I had nothing near by I could cover myself with.

But luckily I had managed to escape incident.
