I wrote something about this on the forum, but it disappeared into the ether. So I'm putting it here for posterity. Or really just so I've got all my YouTube links in a nice, accessible place.
Horrible Histories is ace
Horrible Histories is a TV programme for children which, to be honest, is not really just for children. It's for adults too. Just because it's so funny. But hey, it's educational. Honest.
Imagine a programme which combines historical fact (if such things exist) with Monty Python-esque silliness and a touch of Blackadder's irony.
