Small Noonday Fair

Rate this Entry
Their calling echoes above the court
As if the long dirge, raises from the church
These men and women, people with black and white hair
Who are busy for a living again
Drive away dreams from those taking a nap

Another howling joins the procession of the shouter
With a huge roaring, the plane flies over the sky
Like the bang of firecrackers suddenly burst before the funeral
Announce the dead will be sent to their rest

Numerous noons repeatedly die this way
Very few witnessed, their peaceful fate

I enjoyed this poem -- the line "numerous noons repeatedly die this way" has a wonderful sound and rhythm.

Wow, Yuka, where did you learn how to write in English like that? That is excellent, and I agree with Comedian on that "numerous noons..." line. It's special.

I do think the grammar might be a bit off with this:
"Like the bang of firecrackers suddenly burst before the funeral/Announce the dead will be sent to the rest cemetery"

    Is this what you mean:
Like the bang of firecrackers suddenly bursting before the funeral
Announcing the dead will be sent to their rest
