day in a life

today is my kind of summer weather, it's warm but not to warm and just a little breeze. My son is playing in the garden and my dog is sleeping in the shadow and I am sitting by the door so I can stay in the shade a bit. my brother calls me a shadow creature cause I never walk on the sunny side of the street, I always prefer the shade.

tomorrow is a holiday and we have a birthday to go to, I am getting more social these days, I always hated these things but I am fine with it now, maybe because I want to meet people I don't avoid it as I did. not that I want to have a big group of people around me and definetly not at my home but visiting and knowing I can leave the minuet I feel uncomfortable is good. a picture my son painted is on the wall at my favorite cafe along with the pictures his friends at school painted and we went to see it today and got a cake and juice, it was a lot of fun and he loved showing me the picture he made.

I will find out about school by the 15th of this month so I hope it will be good news! and I really can't wait! feel like I have been waiting for so long.

I am really enjoying Dr. Shivago but it is taking me a long time to read, I don't read as often as I did. I think I want to read the song of ice and fire soon, I love the show and I think I would like to read at least the first book. I might try and find it this summer.

well better start doing something smart for a change...
