A small twist of fate

My newest thing is being addicted to ordering books online through Barnes and Noble and there are a few reasons why I find it advantageous to do this.
For one there is a Safeway not far from my house and they have a huge rack of gift cards for just about anywhere you can think of so it is a lot more convenient to go there and buy gift cards for myself than it is to go to the store itself of which there are none really that near by.
As well when ordering online, B&N has this option where you can buy used copies of books and thus even with tax and shipping and handling online I pay a lot less than I would in the store itself, as well there is more variety online.
There has rarely been a time when I could not find a book I wanted from them online, but I cannot always find the books I am looking for in the store itself.
So there were a couple of books I wanted to get and I presently have three old cards that still have some credit left on them. One had a little over 8 dollars another a little over 3 and than I had one for 91 cents, and I had no idea what I was going to do with that card and yet I did not want to just throw it away.
In addition I also do have a brand new card for 25$ but I was hoping to save that one, but I figured if I did go over my amount for the books I could use the new card to make up the difference.
So all in all I had a total of 12 dollars and some odd change but I could not remember the exact amount off the top of my head but I new about how much I had to spend.
I order my books, and the total came to 12.55 and I wasn't sure if I had quite that much between my previous cards, and after entering the first two cards, the 8$ and 3$ card, the total amount I had left that I still owed was exactly 91 cents.
I could not help but wonder just what the odds of that were and thought it was an amusing little coincidence.
