A Literal Cat Burglar and the One-Eyed Rabbit

My cat Zeo for some reason really hates being locked in the garage at night, and so most the times he finds ways to avoid it and he rarely comes in for the night voluntarily and because I know he never strays far from the house, I don't much mind if he prefers to stay outside all night but I will bring him in whenever I have the opportunity to do so, mostly because I feel bad for his brother being left alone all the time because Taz usually comes in every night of his own accord. He does not like being locked out.
But on the occasions when I do happen to lock Zeo in for the night, he will periodically throw these fits in which he attacks the door that goes from the house to the garage. And because he is a pretty big cat if one did not know any better you would think I was keeping a lion in the garage. It sounds like he is trying to tear the door down or break it down. The bottom corner of it is all scuffed up from his chewing and clawing at it, trying to pull the door open.
And the door also can be a bit tricky at times, when you pull it closed, it does not always click in all the way, so it will look like it is closed but if you were to just push it with your hand it would swing open.
Well last night was one of the occasions in which I was able to get Zeo in for the night and when I got up this morning after getting dressed one of the first things I do is go out to the garage to open the garage to let the cats out and feed them, while as I was walking to the door I noticed it was cracked open a little bit, and knowing that the door is testy I did not think much of it, and than going out into the garage I noticed the mat which is usually in front of the door was now lying upside down in the middle of the garage floor, and it is kind of weird because last night I had this strange dream about accidentally locking a Raccoon in the garage, so than when I go out in the morning I find everything in a state of disarray.
So I figure what must have happened is that Zeo at some point during the course of the night must have made one of his attempts to try and break into the house.
Than I go out to the backyard to feed the rabbits, and I noticed Bandit, my older rabbit, who I have had for quite a long time and is pretty advanced in age for a rabbit appears to have a cataract in one of his eyes. The condition is not really life threatening, and there is not a lot that can be done about it at least not without great expense as well as certain risk to the life and health of the animal. Surgery can sometimes be used to remove a cataract, but it does not work on all types of cataracts, and rabbits are subject to a great health risk in surgery than dogs are cats typically are. As well it is always more of a risk for an older animal to go into surgery and even with surgery cataracts can be reoccurring.
