so tired

when it comes to the 12 books in 12 weeks thing I know I am spending way to much time on the internet. I am planning on cutting it down a bit, at least at night. Now the 12 books are:
Dracula-Stoker
Emma-Austen
Northanger Abbey-Austen
Tess-Hardy
Great Expectations-Dickens
Shalem's lot-King
Shining-King
Interview with a Vampire-Rice
The Hunting of Hill House-Jackson
The Divine comedy-Dante
Höfundur íslands-Hallgrímur Helgason
Fólkið í kjallaranum-Auður Jónsdóttir

the last two are Icelandic but I plan on reading the divine comedy last both cause it is expensive and I guess it will take more than a week to read.

Right now I am so tired, it's almost 9 in the morning and my son has Chicken Pox! he does not have a fever or anything and is doing great, BUT, he woke up little before two last night and hasn't fallen asleep since! I don't get it, he went to bed at his normal time around 8 and than he just woke up. I am so tired. and he isn't even tired! I tried to force him to lay still but he just wasn't tired, then I gave him my computer, he loves youtube and I thought he would fall asleep from that but no he stayed up all night and than around 4 or 5 he got hungry and I gave him Cheerios than he wanted toast with ketchup (a new thing he loves and I don't get) around 7 and I just gave up on my bed and trying to sleep and got myself some strong coffee.

happy days

You should be able to download a free copy of The Divine Comedy from somewhere. I got a free copy on my iTouch. I don't know how good a translation is it though.
Chickenpox huh? When my son had chickenpox my GP told me to bath him several times a day and to put 2 tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda in the bathwater as it helps to dry up the spots. It worked. Hope he gets better (and you get some sleep) soon

Wow, that's a lot of reading. That's probably a year's reading for me. The Divine Comedy in one week? Yikes, not sure you'll really get much out of it, other than the story line. There are on line editions and if you're not worried about the best translation they should be fine.

    Hope your son feels better.

Toast with ketchup? Haha! I remember loving ketchup only sandwiches when I was a kid. My cousin still makes fun of me for that. I still love ketchup, but I don't just put it on bread any more.

If you can do it and it works for you, that's great, Helga. In fact I kind of envy (yes, envy!) your zest and ability to read and enjoy these quickly. They are books for which I need some space and time to absorb. I'm like a tortoise that way, and I get impatient.
