Halls of the Dark Muse

My two black cats Zeo and Demeter have this rivalry with each other going on, though they are not blood brothers, they do in many ways act like siblings, because they are very much alike in many ways. Taz, Zeo's actual brother is more wild natured, and independent, while both Zeo and Demeter crave constant attention all the time and they both spend most of their time in the backyard.

Whenever I pet one I than have to pet the other particularly when it comes to Zeo because though he is an absolutely sweetheart, when it comes to other cats he is more aggressive natured, and he is a pretty big cat. Whenever I try to pet Demeter and Zeo is around, he will come running up and if I don't pet each cat with one hand, than Zeo will constantly push Demeter out of the way. When he knows I am watching, he tries to be sneaky, and will do this thing where he acts like he is just going to nudge Demeter with his head or nuzzle him, but than he gives him these head butts to chase him off.

Well it has been my long time belief that my cats (and perhaps all cats) have the uncanny ability to read minds, and well particularly mine in the case of my cats.

So I go out into the garage to put something away when I noticed Zeo curled up on top of the washer and so I walk up to pet him a few times, because even though he is an absolutely spoiled brat, and a bully, and constantly demanding to be the center of attention, he is adorable and irresistible.

Than I come back into the house and start to make my way back towards the couch when I hear this noise at the sliding glass door of the backyard, and there is Demeter clawing at the screen and demanding attention. So I had to open up the door and than pet him for a bit.
