Halls of the Dark Muse

Now it looks like there is a chance I won't get to have the snake at all because it appears as if the woman who was giving it away misrepresented the situation. As I had mentioned previously she had said that the snake use to belong to her son but he was no longer interested in it, which led one to the presumption that at some point her son had actually expressed to her that he did not want it any more.

Well the next time my mom saw her she told the woman that I wanted the snake and than she was all like. "Oh well I have to confirm with my son first" thus apparently she was offering to give the snake away before she even new if her son in fact still wanted it or not.

So now I have to wait for her to talk to her son, who might tell her that he still wants to keep the pet.
