Halls of the Dark Muse

For those following the saga of the prospects of a new reptile entering my home, I have another update on the matter and there is good news and slightly less than good news.

The good news (if you cannot already guess) is that it seems like it is now official that the snake is going to be mine. The woman confirmed with her son and he was happy that the snake would be going to a new home, and so everything seems to be set.

The only slightly bad news is that I will have to wait until January before I actually get my new snakey. I personally don't know the woman or where she lives, she is someone my mom knows through work and I have never met her before or anything, but apparently she will not be able to bring the snake out here until sometime in January.
