Later That Day...

I'm all smiles. I think that my date tonight was probably the best I've ever had. I totally misjudged him...I can't believe I have been such a snot to him since the seventh grade...granted we both were. I always thought he was just a stuck up rich kid that enjoyed being ignorant and stupid, and thought he was the sexiest manboy alive. TOTALLY WRONG! He is actually very smart, very well read, very funny, sweet and a total gentlemen. He actually came and rang the doorbell...my past three boyfriends just honked the horn or called me. Then he sat down with my parents and talked to them while I finished up! He held the door open for me, he wasn't grabby, didn't flirt with the cute barista at the little coffee shop. Paid for everything even though I offered to split the check with him. Laughed at my jokes...and actually listened to what I had to say. AND he has ambitions in life...not like my past relationships...he actually wants to go to school, wants a good career...wants a good, fun life! Plus he loves to travel...me too!
So glad I went with the modest, but cute look.![]()
I guess the moral of the day is: Don't judge people based on petty arguements and popularity...people will surprise you...and I thought that I was pretty good about not being judgemental. Just goes to show!
Oh, and Virgil, he was a perfect gentlemen. Walked me to my door and only gave me a kiss on the cheek.![]()
Then he said he would call me tommorrow.
Overall, I give tonight a 10/10!
