day in a life

today is sunday and it's around 9 in the morning. I woke up before my son, that is unusual on the weekend but ok. it is kinda nice sitting alone with my coffee listening to julie london. I am discovering the audiobook all of a sudden! find it a nice change every now and then, and BBC has some great recordings. I plan on reading two books in my christmas vacation and listening to Silmarillion by tolkien and maybe some Holmes... I love the new version of Holmes, there have been made 3 episodes of the modern Sherlock and I like him! hope they will make more!

I realized yesterday that I have been single now for 6 months! congratulations to me! When I was younger I thought I needed to be in love to be happy, but I needed to be alone to be happy.... or at least to learn how to be happy and enough for myself but I think I could add love into the mix later on. right now my brother is having some trouble in his relationship and I find it harder to deal with than my own break up. I love his girlfriend and they have been together for over 2 years now, I don't want to loose her from the family but of course my brother is more important and beside my son he is the person closest to me and probably my best friend. I kinda wish I could have both, but I do hope that if they break up he'll consider staying with us for a while.... but we'll see.
His girlfriend is playing in the Buddy Holly show here on the ice and we are gonna go see it next weekend and I am looking forward to it. also she is a singer and wants to use my poems as her lyrics she is always playing with her many bands and plans on doing a cd... well maybe things will work out. I just want them to be as happy as I am right now.

well now my son is up so I'll be back..
