Halls of the Dark Muse

Well it was a nice fantasy but it appears as if there will be no new kitten after all

It appears as if the little guy took off sometime on Sunday, and there has been no further sign of its appearance around since than. Though there is still a possibility that it may come around again now that it knows there is food and shelter here, but it seems that it was just passing through.

In other news, I had a rather surprising and unexpected encounter this morning. It was around 10 o clock, in broad day light, and I had just started eating my breakfast, which happened to be a bowl of cheerios when I wondered into the room which is dubbed "my office" because it is where the computers are, and where I spend most my time, when I looked out into the backyard, and say a raccoon perched on the edge of the pool having a drink.

An unusual sight to see during the day, I could not pass up the rare opportunity it presented, so at the risk of letting my cereal get soggy I set the bowl down on the table ran into my room to grab my camera and take some photographs, because it is hard to take photos of them at night, because as soon as I turn on the lights they scamper off.

After taking a few photos of it, it began to step down off the edge of the pool back onto the stairs of the deck to make its way back down, and than I noticed that something was wrong with it,and it appears to be sick, because it was moving really slowly and it lithe to the side as it walked, so I felt bad after that and ended up deleting the photos I took of it because I would have felt as if I was exploiting its illness if I had kept and posted the pictures of it.
