I just wanted to take a break from Latin and let you guys know what's going on with me.

I'm back at school, entirely by God's grace! We had a bad scare that I had a brain cyst but thankfully it was all a hullaballoo over the equivalent of a wrinkle. Nothing wrong with me.

So of course, I love school. This semester is going to be marvelous. Marvelous and maddening. Here's what's on the table for this semester.

15 credits worth of difficult classes: Principles of Biblical Reasoning (apologetics and AMAZING. My professor belongs in a book.), Freedom's Foundations I (political theory), Constitutional Law, Latin I, and Western Literature II.

On top of that, a 1 credit internship for Lamplighter Ministries, which re-publishes rare Christian books from the 1600s-1800s.

On top of that, helping out as a junior editor for Scratch, the school's literary journal.

On top of that, (although not for certain) a 10-15 hour job.

On top of that, I've an audition for chapel guild tomorrow and I'm almost certain I'll get in.

And finally, depending on how my schedule looks after that, volunteering at ESL childcare for 3 hours once a week.

On top of homework/tests/papers and memorizing Latin.

I'm so excited.

Now if you were going to school closer to where we live, I'd let you volunteer anytime to help with our little one

Glad to hear all is going great.

Holy smoke, the Latin alone would kill me. That is some heavy semester. Defintely keep us (at least me ) updated on what you're reading in Western Literature. Feel free to bounce questions off me. I'm also curious on your editorship. Let us in on some issues that occur. And don't forget to register back home to vote. You've got to kick Barbara Boxer () out and get a Republican governor in California as well. Here's info on how to absentee vote as a college student:

Whoa, glad to hear nothing was wrong in the brain. Sounds like it could have been scary.
