Dolling up

It's mum's office party tonight and she's nicking money from my purse (With my permission, of course) Oh, she's just found one of her own tenners, but she's still taking two of mine. She'll pay me back tomorrow though with interest of course
. I say a fiver at the most for my trouble (It all goes towards my pressie list of names). She's got a pretty, swishy black skirt that's completely elasticized. She's supposed to be there now but I wouldn't let her go until I'd done her hair right (She did ask me to make it look neat and I did) Now she's nearly ready to go.
Today I had a mock synoptic paper for English lit., three hours long. My shoulder was killing me by the end of it, because if the way I had to keep sitting. I was desperate for the ladies after (as you can imagine) and my least favorite person, Ms Richards caught me scuttling to my business class and said "Emma, you should be in business". I said "that's where I'm going now". She said "I know that but the rest of them are already there. Get a move on". I pointed out that I'd had to go to the ladies but she wasn't listening.
Ms Richards isn't a teacher. She is our "student welfare coordinator" or "SWC".
And to think, just two years ago she was just a lowly, quiet receptionist that did the 6form's EMA. Then last year she got elevated to her SWC role and she became a real *****. I often think of her as Mr. Featherstone's lapdog (He's my year leader, though they're not called that any more. They're called "directors of learning" Same thing, just a fancier title.)
The rest of the day dragged on.
Most of the decs are up now, in the main half of the living room (It's split into two halves because I think there used to be a wall in the middle of it before, but now it's kind of like an arch, and dad took out the other door on this side. That's the handy thing about having a builder for a dad and a decorator for an uncle.)
Mum's getting the tube. I worry about that because all sorts of things could happen and she's not her usual average looking self, any fool could tell she's going out somewhere, even with her long black coat on. But I needn't worry, mum can handle herself. So, now I'm home alone with not even Tom's constant emailing for company (Hotmail's messed up he says) Not that I mind, constantly emailing really bugs me sometimes.
Well, I've bored everyone enough today.
By the way, I got another little person, like the one before (See a few entries back) I'm still not sure if it's a Sheppard or a wise man. On well.
