Flood and Mother Nature's Mercey

Merciful mother is crying again now in rainy season
for her suffering children on earth.
She cries and cries until her tears turn into a vast expanse of waters,
rushing down mountains
and submerging villages along with her scions on its way.


Some shed salty pearls for those poor souls.
I, a truth sayer,
say those are blessed who are carried away by merciful Mother,
for their souls are in heaven now,
and their spirits are soaring high as birds flying in the sky,
freer than any whimsical wind.

    I scribbled this piece for Aliengirl, who concerns much about a flood and many souls who were carried away.

    A graceful tribute to Nature! Your treatment of the theme is unique. No sad lamentations, no complaints. A celebration of reunion with the Nature. Or in other words -

    "From you we have come and unto you we return, O Lord."

    Thank you dear for this singularly beautiful poem. It didn't upset me at all. It rather goes well with my optimistic attitude. Be happy and keep writing!
