A Lonely Traveller

When the blazing sun is in full swing,
I need to rest my sore feet from trudging
in your shade,
counting falling leaves one after another,
like recalling the stories of my life along the journey .

I need to take a nap now to rest my weather-worn soul
in your sanctuary,
watching the clouds drifting by one after another,
like my dreams scattering along the way.

When the sun goes down,
Please show me which way I should put my footstep down!
