Teen vocab

As the wind howls outside my window; spattering the pane with rain and animating the trees with such a force that I fear for their little, young branches, will snap; I sit in "life skills" and a thought has occurred to me about modern teenage vocabulary. I was happily playing the daily puzzle on Shockwave when my teacher came in and asked if I had completed my UCAS application. I answered with the few vague words such as Yep and no. Upon being asked the same question by my second form tutor, my response was much the same.
Typical teen vocabulary now seems to consist of a few vague words that follow in sequence; yes. no. no. no. yes. no. yes yes.
I was not the only one. Out of the three of us that are here and don't have exams, our responses were very much the same.
Though I doubt I'll post many updates from school I felt compelled to do so this time to express my thoughts on the modern teenage vocabulary, seeing as I doubt I'll have much else to say.
I must also add that my teacher has just been reading over my shoulder. Not that I mind, I knew he was there, which is probably why I kept pressing the wrong keys. I do that when people are watching me type, it puts me off. Oh well.
I think I know the reason for our lack of enthusiasm today. We had an English lit. exam first thing on The Changeling, so everyone's feeling a bit tired and sluggish.
Oddly enough, as I have been typing this, there has been a break in the grey canopy above us. I can see blue sky, quite a lot of it in fact. It's strange this time of year as most of the time the clouds are a perpetual grey. Even the sun is able to shine now. The rain has stopped but the wind continues. It is the wind I have to thank for this blue sky.
The wind amazes me. Though you can't actually see it, you can feel it tugging you in every direction, turning your hair into some kind of hideous birds nest. And the sound. How it can be so calm and then suddenly there is this whistling sound, a sound that only it can make.

Well well, look at how I've droned on again. This is getting to become a habit .
Haven't opened my advent calendar yet so I can't tell you what I got.

Edit: It was a little chocolate Christmas present. So cute

hehe...life skills...I had to take one of those classes. So did you learn anything that will help you in life?

Yup. I learnt that (in our school at least) Life skills is a wast of time . In other schools it may actually be a propper lesson but in ours it's just a waste of a perfectly good lesson that we could be in like english lit. or business.

My Life Skills class was taken in middle school. We read short biographies about rock musicians and sports heroes that were meant to inspire us. It was rather lame.
