Not sure Paul. I can't remember any streakers recently. I'm sure they would have made the news if they did.

Oh well the Orioles aren't that bad, the Montreal Expos were like the worse Major League team in history, at least they're DC's problem now.

That is true, the Expos were absolutely horrible during their last few years. But this year the Orioles may be on track for one of the worst in recent history. Yes the the Expos are the Nationals problem now. I still can't understand why they put that team in D.C. The Baltimore/Washington area can support one team well, but splitting the attendence between the two teams has made both marginal teams.

There doesn't seem to be any sense in how leagues choose to place teams. The NHL has a serious problem with teams in the Southern US, none of them can stay afloat. Viable markets in Canada are blocked because the owners of the NHL feel the TV market is saturated in Canada. It's upsetting because the business is getting in the way of the quality of the sport.

A friend of mine commented recently that US sports - Am Football, Basketball and Baseball could only be played by physically "unusual" types at the top level , unlike something like football which all physical types can play. Do you reckon this is true?

I think it's true for several positions in Am Football (the positions requiring size), probably everyone in basketball because of height, but not in baseball. Baseball players are have common frames. They're athletic, but not exotic in physique.
