I'd like to start out this rambling with how much I despise work. GRR!! I can't wait til Barnes and Noble hires me!!! They better cause I've applyed so many times that it would be pretty disappointing. Anyways...its all good, just a couple more weeks and I'll be in Mexico (did anyone watch the game two days ago?) and then school will start up and I won't have to worry about work anymore!!

I've got to work extra, extra hard this year in school...I have got to get into Rice University! Thats the plan at least. I wouldn't mind going to The University of Colorado-Boulder or University of Missouri-Columbia...those are good journalism schools, but Rice has been my goal for awhile...The ACT is a (insert naughty word)!

Okay, since I've gotten quite an interest in my art, any of you who would like to see it just PM you email address to me and I would be happy to send you some of my stuff. Also, if any of you out there that know of art/creative magazines that publish unknown artists or that can help get my name out into the world, I would dearly love to know!

    I wish you the best of luck Mortis in your life's goals. You seem like a great young lady who must make her parents very proud to have you as a daughter. What you told me about the way you persevere is so inspiring.

    I have no luck with e-mail--it gets lost or shows on the wife's side of the computer and she thinks it spam and erases it. Now I'm not trying to be cute or silly but there's a high school teacher in Canada that publishes a magazine called G-Fan (for Godzilla--up to issue 80 and is class act) and people send him in drawings of Godzilla that get published. One artist that came out of there has had paitings doen on paperbacks (of Godziulla but point is it helped get him noticed.

    Good luck on getting into the college you want. I know how difficult and stressful it can be. As for magazines to publish art in... let me think on it. I do know an art site that you can sell on, even if you are unknown, to get your art out there. I'll look around and find the address again and post it or PM it to you. Have you considered looking into local art fairs or galleries? We have tons here locally on Whidbey Island and they are always looking for new talent. You may consider looking into something like that to showcase your work. Even if it is only a piece or two here or there it is a start. Best of luck and I'm off to find that web site again:)
