Things I Love

Okay, I’m feeling good, I finally have my internet back, as you now know, and I felt like being chirpy. A while ago when I was a little down I did a list of things I hated. It’s not complete, it’s just the things I hate most, I failed to include spiders (my arachnophobia’s gotten much worse, I’m on the verge of a panic attack each time I catch one, then again mum screaming at one makes me scream at one more so it’s all her fault
, although I ignore the ones in the kitchen, they’re the really thin legged ones, I call them spindly spiders), slugs (which is weird because I love snails, they’re so cute and slimy and nice to hold in warmer weather, same with worms (I felt the same when I was a little girl) and snails are just so cute, so it’s weird that I find slugs ugly), most bugs in general (ladybirds are lovely, ants are tickly but too many is not good, woodlice are always fun) and a whole bunch of other stuff I could’ve included. Anyway, I feel like doing another list that some of you have expressed an interest in. This is not in any order like the last one, It’ll just be as I think of them.
Things I love
1) Anime/manga (anime mainly, I’m trying to become an otaku, I don’t think I count as one quite yet, although I’m almost a mad fangirl so that’s pretty close)
2) The smell of a new book (That lovely papery smell, it’s so nice)
3) On the subject of smell, the smell after it rains (that cool damp smell is especially nice in the summer)
4) My piggy bank, Piggy (I’ve had piggy banks before but this one is an actual pig, I’ve always wanted one of those, he’s a little transparent blue pig I got from Jersey zoo)
5) Making cranes (They’ve developed a special significance for me (on a related note, only 100 more cranes to go))
6) Achieving something (It rocks (for some reason that’s become one of my pet words now, I’ve no idea why) like catching a spider and evicting it (that’s a recent one))
7) Our bonsais (Mi-chan it looking nice, makes me pleased that we bought him)
8) Daydreaming (Wow that’s a big one, been doing that most of the time I’ve had conscious thought)
9) Being a god and ruling over my sims, ahahahahaha.
10) On a related note, effectively being god again and creating an entire imaginary world from scratch that I usually hope to turn into a novel (designing every little detail is always fun. Wouldn’t it be cool if every little world you made up actually existed somewhere and you could visit it? There’d be a bunch of crap that would make you go “what was I thinking?” but there’d also be some really great stuff you could be really proud of)
There’s a lot more but I’ve run out at the moment, I think that’s enough for now anyway, if I listed absolutely everything who knows how long I’d take.
