The Hyacinth Bloom
The first flush of lips
brought together
in a spreading warmth
of passion awakened.
Love born beneath
the sunlight,
with his radiating caress,
stirring unknown senses
Apollo in his brilliance
enfolds sweet tender
Hyacinth to his enflamed
breast.
The gentle lad with
dark falling locks trembles
with yearning at the touch
of his lover divine.
Murmuring honey words
in Apollo's ear,
Hyacinth bursting in
full bloom of his youth,
they ripple together
exchanging stolen looks,
butterfly words,
moments of tantalizing
finger touches,
before falling together
in golden fields.
Where they grew as one
with limbs entangled
and bodies pressing,
one against the other,
stirring temptation.
But such love
which rival the spring time
can only last as long as a
flowers first bloom.
In the stars above
it was writ that
illustrious Hyacinth,
jewel of Apollo's eye
would fall from life.
And from the sun's sorrow
the hyacinth flower
in vibrant splendor
bloomed for the world to see
and Apollo always to remember.
