day in a life

my son watches tv with me sometimes. like some of you know I like sci-fi, Stargate Atlantis at the moment. my son loves it, it's no worse that most adventures, bad guys and good guys and the good guys always win because they are smarter and use their intellect more than their guns. the bad guys in these particular shows put their hand on you chest and suck the life out of you. my son dosen't get it but this is his game now, not guns just putting his hand on your chest, luckily nobody understands what he's doing. the other boys have their sticks as guns.

this semester is not going as well as I had hoped. I don't know what I'll get from it, except me being annoyed. but we'll see my mom was trying to comfort me and said it dosen't matter when I graduate just that I do it eventually and that I can't do everything when I have a job a home and my boy too and he needs to get his attention. and he does get it I decided a while ago that from the time I pick him up and to the time he falls asleep I'm not bugging him or me with school, that is our time. I don't want to be the kind of mom who places her kid in front of the tv the minuet he gets home.

well I can't say I'm expecting much from this semester but the next one starts in june so I'll do more then.
