Om

I Walk Through this Golden Morning
and marvel at these flowering trees
of pink and purple and green,
and I can't help but say,
"Nam Myoho Ren Ge Kyo."

Each tree stands in non-duality,
a bridge between earth and sky,
a cornerstone of this Universe,
symbolic of the nameless Dao,
a part and complete representation of this Dharma realm,
a Pure Land filled with Lotus flowers
as the building blocks of reality,
and Buddha guides as its denizens,
each of which posessing complete freedom of movement
and matchless strength, beauty, wisdom, compassion,
patience, humility, and all other divine traits.
I enter this land and return, by stepping through the opening,
"Nam Myoho Ren Ge Kyo."


If you and I are meant to love one another,
May I write words of wisdom and beauty
May every breath come perfectly
May the leaves of Autumn fall
In a pattern according exactly to God's will,
Will every star move as it should
Then I will love you true, forever.

As I walk along this golden morn,
To the side of my path left and right
grow tall, flowering trees, into and out of the infinite reality -
purple, white, blue, green, pink and gold,
their flowers fall along the path.
All shines with radiant, divine beauty
If any should suffer -
May they be cured of it.

Each breath of mine rises and falls
into the oceanic wisdom emptiness
of the essence of every Buddha-form,
temporarily mistaken to be growth of trees,
penultimately realized to be waves of light.

If you and I are meant to love each other
for all our Days and in God's Sight,
May our vision be cleared of all distortion,
May we see the sun's divine beauty
In every day and night.
May we live in love and giving,
And see all the beauty in life.
