Written for friend of mind forever seeking the goddess within him.
To Be A Woman
Touch of black lace
against white thighs
as stockings ride hide,
it only feels right
Wrapped in velvet
against my skin,
gowns made to cleave
and reveal, offering
promises of the sensual
peeling.
it only feels right
Silken gloves which
encase up to the elbow
and break-neck heals
a mile high.
it only feels right
Lips ruby red
meant to kiss, or bite,
kohl lined eyes
and pale rose blush
watching myself
transform before
the mirror.
it only feels right
Baby,
if you're offended
it is only because
I turned your head
and you know you what
a kiss, and wish
you could find the
heaven in my sin.
it only feels right
Don't blame me
if I was made to
feel beautiful inside,
and will no longer hide,
you only want to hurt me
because I refuse your
shame.
it only feels right
If you think me an
abomination it is only
because your perfect
god gave me all the wrong
external parts.
it only feels right
I let the woman in me
free to roam the city
streets, and take in the sights,
don't hold it against me
that in a glimpse
you find me pretty.
it only feels right
So what if I like the feel
of lace and leather
against my skin,
and tremble beneath
the touch of femininity.
it only feels right
Before you judge me
take in your own reflection,
and look deep within your
own tormented, guilt-ridden
soul and ask yourself
does it really feel right?
