Halls of the Dark Muse

My Book an International Traveler

Rate this Entry
I am currently reading Rebecca, and like many of my books my copy is a used copy which I picked up somewhere, I cannot remember now just what book store or sale I got it from, but I just happened to notice on the back cover it says:

For copyright reasons this edition is not for sale in the U.S.A.

And then under that it has the list of different countries, which I presume are the places it was sold, as it has a price after each one of them:

United Kingdom
Australia
New Zealand
Canada

And I can say I know I sure wasn't in any of those places when I bought the book, which means that at some point in time my edition of the book must have resided somewhere over seas, or at least across the Northern Border, and some how or other happed to find its way here.

Either brought over by one its owners or perhaps shipped to someone here, which I just found kind of trippy to think about.

It s trippy, isn't it? I have a used paperback or two that came from a few states away. I enjoy imagining how they mede the trip to this location.
