A Mirror Floating in Water

Omg, omg, omg!

Ohh I'm so excited! My sister is pregnant and is due any day, any minute now!

I swear, babies really bring out the feminine side in me (as if I'm not feminine enough lol) because I've been so excited and exclaiming over all of the cute little baby clothes. That said, when it comes to the baby itself, I feel quite alien to the concept of living with one, and quite uncomfortable and rather disturbed by some unpleasantness that might come along with it (poop, messy meals, burbing, barfing, farting, ehhh).

I feel bad for Emily (my sister) because I'm more excited about it than even her own boyfriend, who is really an *** who has his moments of being a nice funny guy to being a total misogynistic piece of **** (for example, six days before the baby's due, Emily caught him texting dirty messages to this girl ).

Either way, he's seemed rather indifferent towards it and has been acting as if he's the ones who's pregnant (moody, saying the word "****" in every other word, blaming everything on Emily, etc.). Idk, maybe he's just scared or maybe he's just a total *** who needs to be dumped.

But that can't ruin my excitement! The days seem so abnormal now (in a good way), like it's Christmas Eve and I'm getting a BIG crying, screaming, pooping present. Sounds good.

Funnily enough, our dog Mari has been on her first period, which is supposed to last for three weeks (), and if I thought that was bad, I should just wait until the baby, comes! Lol.

Also, by birthday is in five days. Would it not be the most kick-*** thing if she was born on my birthday? Emily hates the idea, lol.

    Hahaha. That is awesome as!!
When it comes to kids, the fiminine side is good, compared to what you're thinking about your sisters bf.
    Merry Christmas.

Put a nappy on your dog, we did it to our dog. And remember to cut a hole for her tail first. Oh, yea, and it is easiest if one person picks her up from beind and the other puts it on from the front. Only, when you're sister's baby is born, don't put it on him/her like that.

Oh, yea, and don't hold him/her the way Bien did his girl.

Btw, do you know the gender? Got a baby name yet?

    I'm getting excited.

Aw, that's sweet that you're so excited. For the record, babies are kind of nice to be around. They don't do much at first and the crying can be a bit grating when it goes on for a long time and you can't figure out what's wrong, but on the whole they're pretty exciting. And the poops don't smell until they start eating real food...well not too bad anyway. And you get to watch them grow and encounter the world, which is lovely.

I bet you'll be a brilliant Uncle, Daniel. I'm excited for you

That's great news Dan -- when the day arrived, I do hope there will be cigars passed around.

You 'll be a great uncle, and it sounds like the little pipsqueak will need one, based on your description of his/her father. And one of the best things about having a kid in your life is that they get funner and funner the older they get, well, for me at least.

Does your sister live near you?

Maybe you could get your dog, Mari, fixed. () Then you'll only have to worry about diapering one baby in the house.

I think you are going to be one fantastic uncle. Just think of all the movie shorts you could do starring the baby! My mind is reeling even as we speak!

I think it would be wonderful if the baby was born on your birthday. Your sister will come around. It would be an awesome bonding experience.

What a great thing to be looking forward to :D If the baby is born on your birthday, your sister will never have an excuse to forget your birthday  Either way, have fun becoming an uncle. Little babies are cute and all, but you'll have a blast when the baby hits about 3-6 months. They start smiling and giggling, and it is just the best.

Does this mean you're about to become a first-time uncle?

"Uncle Daniel" -- when the time comes that will sound like music to your ears.

I know how you feel. I became a grandmother just a little over a year ago. (For a little while, the thought of becoming a grandmother reminded me that I
was old.) But now every time I see my grandson my troubles instantly disappear.

I wonder if you'll become the designated babysitter? I bet you'll be an expert at it.

Best wishes to your sister and of course to you!

    Sincerely,
    Grandma Shecky
