I read this novel in my mid-thirties and loved every word. The insights that it provides on male/female relationships actually helped to shape the opinions I have on those subjects even today. All of that wrapped in the social commentary of the times makes for a fascinating read -- one which I didn't want to end. Fifteen years later, last fall, I read Anna again and decided to make it my monthly choice for my book club ---------- a whole year before Oprah picked it!
