This was a book of which I read in a very short time. Although I selected it for its brevity, I quickly came to enjoy it. This surprised me for I dislike Tom Sayer and Huck Finn( the books not characters...lol). This story, although cliched, was very enjoyable to read. As a lover of history the depiction of England at that time was splendid and I applaud Mr. Twian. The other comments say no action was present, I say but a poor judgment to rate a book bye. The story was an account of human nature based apon the environment of the person, and shows that its pointless to want what one dosen't have for you will never be satisfied. I recommend this book to any who can bear a story with a great plot even with absense of action( a bit of jest to those who say it a poor book because lack of action), and i wont brag about my gpa.
