I had first heard of this story by watching the movie. Once i saw the movie i feel in love with the plots and characters. I first saw the movie as a Freshman in highschool and didnt know it was based on a novel. Once i found that out i had to go and buy the book. Most people always say the books are better than the movies b/c of the authors words, and movies tend to leave out some information. So one i bought the book and read it i fell more in love with it and more captured with the story. I hate school reading, but i would NEVER mind having this book for a class novel...
