I believe The Count of Monte Cristo was a very enjoyable book. Although there are some major coincidences that would only happen in a perfect book. So to be able to get into you have to be in media res. The book is written fairly well but as I said too many coincidences. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about old fashioned revenge with a love story rolled up into also.
